Serving a growing international community of energy practitioners, lawyers and thought leaders, the Institute supports efforts to analyse the legal, economic and policy implications of technological advances, political and regulatory decisions and market trends in the energy sector. Particular emphasis is placed on new energy law and policy developments in the European Union, implications for energy operators of new developments in renewable energy technologies and CO2 emission reduction targets and future trends in energy policy nationally, regionally and internationally.
